As a means of better serving the Seniors of Fountain Hills, following is a listing of some organizations and businesses serving the Fountain Hills area who provide transportation and other services for seniors. Transportation Services for Cancer Patients - American Cancer Society Road to Recovery Program - Every day thousands of cancer patients need a ride to treatment, but some may not have a way to get there. This program provides transportation to and from treatment for people who have cancer who do not have a ride or are unable to drive themselves. Volunteer drivers donate their time and the use of their cars so that patients can receive the life-saving treatments they need. For information call 1-800-227-2345. Valley Metro
Valley Metro is the regional public transportation agency providing coordinated transit services to residents of metro Phoenix. From regional bus, light rail and paratransit service to alternative commuter solutions, Valley Metro’s core mission is to develop and operate a network of transit services.
RideChoice is for ADA paratransit certified people with disabilities and seniors age 65 and above who reside in participating communities.Valley Metro RideChoice now has easier access to a larger network of rideshare transportation providers including Uber, taxicabs and other wheelchair-accessible vehicles. You will also get more trips to travel to where you want to go. Once you are eligible, call (602) 716-2111 for all your RideChoice needs. The RideChoice Call Center and service are available 24 hours per day, every day of the year, including holidays.
