Fountain Hills has a nationally ranked Pre-K to12 system though the Fountain Hills Unified School District. The school district includes McDowell Mountain Elementary School (Pre-K to 3rd), Fountain Hills Middle School (4th to 8th) and Fountain Hills High School (9th to 12th).
The District has small class sizes at an average of 18:1, a Vibrant Special Education Program, Fountain Hills Virtual Academy, and a Career and Technical Education Program.
Through a partnership with Arizona State University, Fountain Hills High School students can complete their first year of college while in high school. With 54 courses to choose from, our students can earn college credit and high school credit in one course.
