The Town of Fountain Hills has ended its partnership with All Animals Rescue & Transportation (ACES) for animal control services, effective Thursday, August 21, 2025.
Since last fall, ACES has provided services that aimed to protect pets and the public through education on leash laws and pet safety, as well as responding to the rare but serious incidents involving animals.
As a proud Pet Friendly Community, the Town is committed to ensuring animal control services continue to meet the needs of residents while also safeguarding animal welfare. Town staff are actively developing a long-term solution and will provide updates as plans are finalized.
In the meantime, residents should direct issues in the following manner:
For vicious and barking dog problems, contact the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office. If it is an emergency, dial 911. If it is not an emergency, you can reach MCSO at 602-876-1000.
For other animal-related issues, you can contact the Fountain Hills Code Enforcement Hotline at 480-816-5193.
The Town appreciates your patience while working through this transition.
