Starting in June, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Fountain Hills District will increase its focus on community engagement as part of a broader effort to strengthen relationships and enhance public safety.
As part of this initiative in cooperation with the Town, select deputies will be dedicated to connecting with local business owners and residents, listening to concerns, answering questions, and sharing updates about what’s happening in neighborhoods across Fountain Hills. Residents may notice deputies patrolling more frequently on bicycles as they engage directly with the community.
In addition to these outreach efforts, deputies will also emphasize crime prevention and targeted enforcement where needed. A renewed focus will be placed on traffic safety and enforcement in areas where specific issues have been identified.
To further support this strategy, MCSO will utilize data to identify potential hotspots for criminal activity. By proactively addressing these areas and working closely with the public, MCSO aims to help ensure Fountain Hills remains one of the safest communities in Arizona.
