The Town Council has voted to contract with Timothy A. La Sota, PLC for Town Attorney services.
At last week’s regular meeting, the Town Council voted 5-2 to select Timothy A. La Sota, PLC as the vendor for the next Town Attorney. Representing the law office, Jennifer Wright will be the designated attorney working directly with the Town and Town Council.
Pending the finalized contract, Timothy A. La Sota, PLC will officially take over Town Attorney services on July 1st 2025.
The Town of Fountain Hills received four submittals during the Request for Proposal (RFP) process in the search for a new Town Attorney. The Town Council is responsible for selecting the entity to serve in this role.
The Town Attorney is responsible for providing the Mayor, Council and Staff legal guidance and representation spanning a wide range of issues.
The Town’s agreement with Pierce Coleman PLLC, the firm who has been providing Town Attorney services, expires on July 1st, 2025.
In April, the Town was notified by Pierce Coleman PLLC that it intended to terminate its agreement for services with the Town.
