[ARCHIVED] Seeking Applicants for the Strategic Planning Advisory Commission

One (1) opening is available for a Commissioner to serve on the Strategic Planning Advisory Commission to fill a vacated position. Applicants must be Fountain Hills’ residents, for a minimum of one year, and be available to attend monthly meetings. The Commissioner will be appointed by the Town Council and will serve on a volunteer basis for a term beginning in June, 2016 and ending November 5, 2016.

SPAC was established to foster implementation of the Strategic Plan and to update and maintain it regularly to ensure it serves as the Town’s foundation for decision-making. Qualified applicants should have an understanding of strategic planning and a desire to foster relationships and partnerships with residents and stakeholders to implement the Town’s Strategic Plan. Application forms are available at the Town Hall reception desk, 16705 E. Avenue of the Fountains, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268, or on the Town’s web site at www.fh.az.gov/spac

Applications should consist of the following:
(1) Cover letter of interest
(2) Resume
(3) Appointment Application (attached)
(4) Supplemental Questionnaire (attached)
(5) Consent to Executive Session (attached)

Applications are being accepted until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2016. Applications may be sent or hand delivered to the Town Hall reception desk, Attention: Nancy Walter, 16705 E. Avenue of the Fountains, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268. The envelope should be clearly marked “Strategic Planning Advisory Commission Application”.
