The Maricopa Department of Emergency Management has issued a Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) for the Sunflower area to prepare for evacuation. There is a possibility that some Fountain Hills residents may have received an emergency evacuation alert. However, the evacuation notice does not apply to residents of Fountain Hills, only to those residents who live in the Sunflower area. Currently, the Bush Fire is not a threat to the Town of Fountain Hills. Please visit Ready-Set-Go for information on emergency preparedness.
