Beginning Tuesday, April 14 through Friday, May 1 public access to the Adero Canyon Trailhead will be closed. This temporary closure is a safety measure to accommodate utility trenching adjacent to the trailhead. Hikers are encouraged to use alternate hiking areas in and around Fountain Hills including the Overlook Trail, Golden Eagle Trailhead and McDowell Mountain Regional Park. Please be reminded that restrooms and drinking fountains within Fountain Hills parks and trailheads remain closed and all hikers are urged to plan accordingly. In addition, many trails are adjacent to homes and communities and all hikers should respect private property and observe social distancing guidelines.
