Please be advised that residential crack sealing will begin the week of November 17th in the neighborhoods near and around Saguaro and Fountain Hills Boulevards.
Crack seal entails filling cracks in the pavement with modified asphalt rubber. The sealant helps prevent infiltration of water into the pavement and is used on streets that are in relatively good condition.
The below map outlines when and where the crack sealing will take place.
- Red Section - Begins November 17th, with crews taking off Thanksgiving and the weeks of Christmas and New Years. Work is expected to wrap up December 5th.
- Green Section - Work begins December 8th and runs until December 19th
- Yellow Section - Work begins January 5th and runs through January 16th
Crews will use their best efforts to provide access to driveways, neighborhoods and side streets. Parking restrictions will be in effect from Monday - Friday from 7am until 5pm. Please observe all signs and barricades and pay attention to contractors and law enforcement in the area.
