The Town of Fountain Hills is excited to announce it has appointed Angela Padgett-Espiritu as the new Town Clerk, a position especially crucial during election season.
“Angela has been serving the Town of Fountain Hills in a variety of different roles for six years and is dedicated to upholding our community’s mission and values,” said Rachael Goodwin, town manager. “We’re delighted to welcome her into this new position, one that is very important in light of the upcoming elections.”
In her new role, Padgett-Espiritu will maintain all documents necessary for the effective administration and operation of municipal government, provide support to the mayor and town council and aid in the delivery of effective government service.
Additionally, the Town Clerk facilitates municipal elections in accordance with statutory requirements and serves internal and external customers in an impartial, confidential, efficient, trustworthy and friendly manner.
Padgett-Espiritu holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a certificate in accounting. With more than two decades of experience in her field, she has also been a dedicated resident of the Town of Fountain Hills for 20 years.
Most recently, Padgett-Espiritu has served as the executive assistant to the mayor, council and town manager while simultaneously acting as the back up to the Town Clerk. She has earned her Certified Elections Official certificate and will have earned the Certified Municipal Clerk designation in the coming months.
