The Town of Fountain Hills is pleased to announce the appointment of Caitlin Perez as its new Economic Development Specialist. Perez brings extensive experience in tourism and community development to the Town following her tenure at Visit Mesa, where she served as the Sales and Services Coordinator.
While at Visit Mesa, Perez was pivotal in promoting tourism and enhancing community partnerships, notably hosting events like the Savannah Bananas' Banana Ball World Tour. Her tourism and community engagement expertise will be instrumental in driving economic growth and revitalization efforts in Fountain Hills.
"I am thrilled to bring my tourism knowledge and passion for community impact to Fountain Hills," said Perez. "I am dedicated to fostering innovation and creativity in economic development, and I am excited to align my skills with Fountain Hills' mission and vision."
In her new role, Perez will focus on implementing strategic initiatives to stimulate local economic growth through business attraction, downtown revitalization, and fostering strong community partnerships. She seeks to leverage her educational background and experiences to spearhead new economic development opportunities in Fountain Hills and beyond.
Perez holds a bachelor's degree in design studies management from Arizona State University, where she also excelled as a collegiate soccer player. Recently joining the Arizona Association for Economic Development, Perez is committed to continuous professional growth and development. She officially started her position as Economic Development Specialist for Fountain Hills on July 15.
