The updated Strategy is a product of a series of focus group meetings and online surveys focusing on land use (housing, mix of uses, zoning, design guidelines, streetscape, property maintenance), infrastructure (streets, sidewalks, shade, connectivity, lighting), economic (infill, business mix, marketing, recruitment, retention, tourism, arts and culture), and public space (parks, sidewalks, events, Town campus, wayfinding, placemaking) needs for the area.
Downtown Zoning Overlay - In September, 2025, the Town Council approved a new zoning ordinance overlay for the downtown area. Full details on the ordinance can be found by clicking this link, or in the below flipbook.
