Parkinson's Support Group
Meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 11:00am to 12:30pm
Anyone living with Parkinson's, or caring for a loved one with Parkinson's, is invited to join us. Together, we'll create a supportive space where you can share experiences, exchange helpful resources, and find encouragement from others who understand. This is a welcoming community where friendships grow, hope is strengthened, and no one has to face Parkinson's alone.
Caregiver's Support Group
Meets on the 1st Monday of each month from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm (If first Monday falls on a holiday then will meet on the 2nd Monday)
Caregivers come from all ethnic, geographic and racial backgrounds. There are wide variations in the conditions of those who are receiving help, the kinds of assistance needed, the level of caregiver burden and self-perceptions of caregivers and their willingness to utilize the formal service delivery system. Remember the old adage, "Trouble shared is trouble halved."
Alzheimer's Support Group
Meets Fourth Thursday of every month
10:30 to 11:30 am
The Alzheimer's Support Group is a safe, open environment where people share their feelings, thoughts and experience in a combined effort to better cope with and manage the shared problems with dementia. The goal is to provide emotional, social and/or educational support to the group. The group is facilitated by a trained Alzheimer Association group facilitator with Home Instead Senior Care.
Memory Cafe & Support Group
Meets Second Thursday of every month
9:30 to 11:00 am (9:30-10 coffee & pastries) 10:00-11:00 discussion
The Fountain Hills Memory Café program is held monthly for people living with dementia (or other memory impairment) and their family care partners. Upon arrival, enjoy a coffee and pastry together while socializing with other attendees and their family care partners. Next, attendees with memory impairment are welcome to join in an engaging activity while their care partners gather in a support group. Facilitator led monthly meetings by Prestige In-Home Care. for family caregivers, adult children, and spouses.
Legal Consultations - October thru May only
Must call for appointment. First Friday of each month. 2:30-4:00 pm. (30-minute consultation)
Limited to estate planning, wills, trusts, real estate, family and probate.
