For exercise program, participants must bring their own hand weights, stretch band, mat, and water.
Wellness Wednesdays: Heal Yourself by Dr. Norma Ford

Learn how to view falls as controllable; set goals for increasing activity; make changes to reduce fall risk at home. Instructors are Doctoral students from the School of Health Sciences at the A.T. Still University, Mesa.
Diabetes Management Workshop
Mondays; February 6th, 13th, 27th, and March 6th; 9:00-11:00 am. Course #1845
Participants will appreciate the value of attending all four sessions.
The classes will be taught by Jim Parch, RN with 22 years' experience as a nurse and active member of the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists. The sessions will focus on the 7 key areas of diabetes management and provide suggestions and tools you can use to achieve better control and improve your quality of life.

The February 2017 issue of Clinical Interventions in Aging reported adults age 65+ that participated in the Geri-Fit® program showed an 80.8% improvement in balance over a 90-day period.
