Purpose

The History and Culture Advisory Commission will be to advise the Town Council on matters relating to historic and cultural preservation, including making plans and policies for the identification, evaluation, and recognition of historically or culturally significant aspects within Fountain Hills. The Commission will establish criteria and procedures for review and bring further awareness to the public on the history of the Town of Fountain Hills. The Commission’s purpose is informational and advisory, not an archival collection of memorabilia or artifacts.

Mission

To advise the Town Council on matters related to our history and culture and inspire public awareness and appreciation of our shared history and cultures to preserve that history and foster civic pride.

Commission meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers.

Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval.
