Town of Fountain Hills News Posted on January 09, 2026

The open house will take place Thursday, January 22nd, from 4pm - 6:30pm at the Fountain Hills Community Center, located at 13001 N. La Montana Drive. Residents will have the opportunity to hear directly from Town staff and representatives from the project contractor, review anticipated timelines, and ask questions about construction phasing, driveway access, parking impacts, and what to expect during the paving process.

“This open house is all about making sure residents feel informed and prepared before work begins,” said Mike Pelton, Community Relations Director for the Town of Fountain Hills. “Palomino Boulevard is a key roadway for our community, and this meeting gives residents a chance to hear directly from the people doing the work and get their questions answered.”Palomino Map

Following the open house, the Town is set to begin the paving phase of the Palomino Boulevard reconstruction project. This phase includes the full-depth removal and replacement of asphalt pavement along Palomino Boulevard from Palisades Boulevard to Fountain Hills Boulevard, an approximately 1.4-mile stretch of road.

The paving work marks a major milestone in the long-anticipated project and will deliver a smoother, safer driving surface for residents, businesses, and visitors. The improvements are designed to address pavement that has reached the end of its useful life and provide long-term performance benefits.

Additional project updates and reminders will be shared as construction approaches. Residents are encouraged to attend the open house to learn more about the project and how it may impact travel along Palomino Boulevard. Updates will also be regularly updated at FountainHillsAZ.Gov/Projects.
