Construction is underway along Golden Eagle Boulevard, bringing several improvements including sidewalk repairs and a brand-new median crossing.
Starting Monday, August 11, crews will be working on the southbound side between Cactus Wren and Palisades. This will require closing the right shoulder and bike lane. Work in this section includes repairing uneven sidewalks and replacing cracked or damaged panels to improve safety and accessibility.
A new marked crosswalk is also on the way, as part of a Capital Improvement Project approved by the Town Council . To install it, the southbound left lane at the Brittlebush alignment will be closed, along with the northbound left lane at the same location. Once complete, the crosswalk will provide a safe connection between Brittlebush and Golden Eagle Boulevard.
