The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) offers a free automated telephone service to help keep Town of Fountain Hills seniors and disabled residents safe.
Through the RUOK program, which stands for "are you okay?" participants receive phone calls from MCSO at a designated time each day to check on their status. If no one answers the phone after several tries, MCSO deputies drive to the home to check on the resident. This program is limited to residents of Maricopa County and those living within the boundaries of the Town of Fountain Hills.
