Photography Exhibition/Contest Results
All pictures in the Exhibition are now on display in the Fountain Hills Community Center and will remain on display through Wednesday, November 18.
The winners of the “Fountain 50 Celebration Exhibition and Photo Contest” are;
Category 1 (Black & White Fountain photos) is Anne Graves, for her picture “Fountain at 50”.
Category 2 (Color Fountain photos) is Russ Field, for his picture “Twice as Nice”.
Category 3 (Color photos of Fountain and Event) is Spence Fairbanks, for his picture “New Year Balloon Glow”.
Category 4 (18 and younger) is Nate Porter, for his picture “Enjoying the Fountain at Sunset”.
Grand Winner is Becky Chapman, for her picture “Fountain 50th Balloon Celebration”.

We also want to thank Beth Ruggiero and Ron York, two local Fountain Hills professional photographers, who served as the judges for the Contest portion of the Fountain at 50 Exhibition and Contest. And we would also like to extend our thanks to the members of the Fountain Hills Photography Club who collectively played a significant role in the organization and execution of the Execution and Contest.
Fountain at 50 Time Capsule
The Fountain at 50 Committee is collecting items to be included in a 50th anniversary time capsule. Residents, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to donate items that are reflective of Fountain Hills’ growth, celebrations, and events over the past five decades. Items can be dropped off at the Community Center, Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 4 pm. Not all items may be included, and the committee will make every effort to return unused items. Space in the time capsule is limited, so smaller objects, photos, and similar items are more likely to be included.
