Economic Development Partners
The Town of Fountain Hills works with a number of local, regional, and state partners in order to promote business opportunities in the community, to support small businesses, and align workforce needs. The following organizations work closely with Town staff to implement economic development objectives.
Arizona Commerce Authority
The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) is the state's economic development organization whose mission is to grow and strengthen business in Arizona. The ACA is a public-private partnership working with Arizona communities on the recruitment of quality companies and jobs to the state of Arizona. The ACA provides state-wide site selection, incentives, and business resource assistance to both new and expanding business in Arizona.
Greater Phoenix Economic Council
The Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) is a public-private partnership representing Maricopa County, 22 communities throughout the region, and more than 160 private investors. GPEC’s mission is to attract and grow quality businesses and advocate for Greater Phoenix’s competitiveness. GPEC provides regional site selection assistance, including providing data, such as workforce availability and operating costs.
Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce
The Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit, membership based organization representing more than 400 members. Since 1974, it has been the mission of the Fountain Hills Chamber to serve the community as the voice of commerce as it maintains and improves the economic environment while providing leadership for improving the quality of life in the community.
U.S Small Business Administration
The U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) mission is to help Americans start, build and grow businesses. The SBA has delivered millions of loans, loan guarantees, contracts, counseling sessions, and other forms of assistance to small businesses. The SBA’s Arizona District Office offers the Basic 7(a) Loan Guarantee Program, CDC/504 Loan Program, SBA Express Loan Program and SBA Microloan Program.
Service Core of Retired Executives
The Service Core of Retired Executives (SCORE) is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small businesses start, grow, and succeed. As a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration, SCORE offers mentoring for small business owners through a large network of volunteer mentors, local workshops, events, and tools.

Arizona @ Work is a statewide workforce development network that helps employers of all sizes and types recruit, develop and retain the best employees for their needs.
Maricopa Community College Workforce Development
Maricopa Community College Workforce Development plays a vital role in enhancing the region’s competitive strength by connecting the programs, resources, and customizable training services of the ten Community Colleges and skill centers with the region’s employers.
