The Town of Fountain Hills is proud to continue with the service of providing its residents with safe and free electronics recycling events. The Town is pleased to continue its partnership with Westech Recyclers as our provider for the electronic recycling events.
The Town WILL NOT ACCEPT LIGHTBULBS or BATTERIES FOR DISPOSAL.
Next Event: Coming in April 2024 8 - 12 p.m. Fountain Hill Library (parking lot) 12901 N La Montana Drive
We recycle a wide range of e-waste such as, computers, computer monitors, copiers, faxes, telecommunication equipment, medical equipment (no bio-waste), household batteries, video recorders, cameras, cable TV boxes and a variety of other electronic equipment. Please view the ACCEPTED/NOT ACCEPTED recyclable electronic items list.
Due to the current market conditions for CRT’s, Westech will not be accepting the Cathode ray tubes (CRT’s), as seen pictured here. Also, no rear-projection TVs, vacuums, hair dryers, speakers or remotes will be collected at the event TBD, but will be accepting all of the other electronic items.
Items not accepted at recycling events:
Other household appliances
Other household hazardous waste
Washer and dryers
Working household appliances can be brought to the Goodwill collection site on Fountain Hills Boulevard (next to Safeway). Local Scout Troop 444 will pick up old non-working appliances, hot water tanks and other metals as a fund raiser. To schedule a pickup of items by the Troop, contact Paul Perreault at 480-206-7477.
