Home Delivered Meals
Our Mission
To deliver nutritious meals to the home-bound individuals of Fountain Hills.
Meal Assistance
Our purpose is to provide nutritional noon-time meals for individuals of all ages living in Fountain Hills who require meal assistance. This program assists individuals recovering from illness or surgery and allows home bound individuals to reside longer in the comfort of their own home.
Meals
Each meal consists of a hot entrée provided in a 3-compartment aluminum container as well as a cold sack consisting of a salad, fruit, and dessert. Meals are kept in insulated bags during delivery to ensure a safe temperature is maintained. Special meals are also available to meet medical dietary restrictions.
Meal Preparation & Delivery
Meals are prepared by Fountain View Village and delivered by caring volunteers for a fee of $6.50 per meal. Noon time meals are delivered seven days a week including all major holidays. Clients request the days they wish to receive meals based on availability. Some may desire daily deliveries whereas others may wish to receive meals on alternate days. Clients must be residents of Fountain Hills, stay on the program for a minimum of two weeks and be home to receive their meal between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Meal Provider - Fountain View Village
We would like to thank Fountain View Village for providing nutritious noon-time meals for the Home Delivered Meals program. Fountain View Village has been a partner and supporter of this program since 2001. The partnership with Fountain View Village allows us to keep our meal cost affordable and to offer specialty meals to clients that have dietary restrictions.
Assist Those in Need
Please donate to this program to help subsidize and maintain the cost of the meals for residents in need of meal assistance. Donations may be tax-deductible. Donors should seek advice from their accountant and reference our federal tax ID #86-0650150.
